Bodegas F. Salado

Mr. Francisco Salado Llorente founded the most emblematic and traditional winery in the region in 1810. Four generations later, we are proud of our past, and remain working with the same affection and close relationship with our homeland. Two hundred years of continual tribute to the wine culture and the Sevillian Aljarafe.

We have a total amount of 70 hectares of high whitish farmland (tierra albariza*) and a variety of grape strains, like Pedro Jiménez and Garría Fina, thanks to our sunny warm climate, which allow us keeping an excellent production not only of classic wines, but also of other varieties like must (Mosto) and the most innovative wines.

We are always looking forward to promote inventiveness and new ideas that allow us to advance in the vinification techniques. In 2006, we released the first sparkling wine developed and bottled in the Aljarafe, and in 2010, the first red wine of this region.
Our wines stand up by its excellence and character. They are the result of our high quality grape strains, and the traditional production process.

* Tierra albariza: A stark white mixture of clay, calcium and sea fossils that reflects sunlight up to the vines helping to ripen the grapes.
